About Us

Baseten was born from something deeper than a love of music — it was born from blood. Our founders carry a lineage that runs generations back to the great B.B. King himself, an African American family who lived and breathed the blues long before it graced any stage. That heritage is not decoration here; it is the foundation. We opened Baseten to honour that legacy, to give the blues the reverence it deserves, and to ensure that every note played within these walls echoes with the truth, the soul, and the sacrifice of those who came before.
